Fight for the Purple and Gold!

Today is LSU's first football game of the season. Peyton is excited and of course, Dan is PUMPED!! Dan is ALWAYS wearing LSU apparel and he wants the kids and myself to do the same. I thought it might be fun to make a collage of all the pictures we have of our family supporting the team. (I didn't find any of myself but I do own a few t-shirts and a hat).

The pics in the top left of the collage and the one with the Tiger tattoo is what Peyton is wearing today. He has been waiting all winter to wear his tattoos on game days, the time has finally come!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today Jackson would be turning 4 years old! Time flies by so quickly and we miss him so much. We think of him and talk about him everyday. I often think about what things would be like had he not been taken so early. I love him so much and am thankful for the things he has taught me. I am so blessed to be the mother of such a perfect child.

We love you Jackson! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon for Dan's work Lagoon day last Saturday. Thought I'd post some pictures from the fun day.

The Treehouse Museum

Today we went to the Pizza factory and the Treehouse Museum with some of Peyton's little buddies. They had a great time running around and playing with all of the toys. Peyton especially loved the fire engine and the cash register. It was a great day and the best part about it was, we didn't have to clean up at the end!

3 1/2 months

I was talking to my sister today and she was telling me that she thinks Bailey looks different than the boys did at her age. I thought it might be cool if I got a picture of each of the kids at this age (3 1/2 months) and put them side by side so we can compare them.

New shirt

This post is for Aunt Kathy. Kathy got this shirt for Bailey at the Nike outlet in San Diego. The shirt size is 12 months! It is a tiny bit big but fits good enough for her to wear now. Isn't it cute! Thanks Aunt Kathy.

Late anniversary note

Dan and I had our 6 year anniversary earlier this month (August 2nd). We were out of town without access to the internet so I wasn't able to do a post about it.

I know this is late but I wanted to let Dan know that I am so thankful for him and his companionship. We have been through some tough times during our marriage and we have always managed to pull together when we've needed each other most. We are able to have a stronger marriage and friendship because of the hard times. I love Dan with all my heart and I thank him for loving me in return. Mostly I thank him for our 3 beautiful children and the chance I have to be home and raise them. Each day as I look at them and my love for them grows, my love for Dan also increases. I love you Dan!

First "real" haircut for Peyton!

Peyton went to the hair salon for his first time today. I usually cut his hair but I decided I wanted to try and see if he might do a little better at the salon. Dan and I wanted to grow his hair out a little longer to see what it was like but we decided we didn't really like it so much. He is such an active boy his hair always looked messy when it was longer. Also, lately he has been complaining a lot about being hot so we felt like it might be better to have his hair shorter. I was so proud of Peyton, he sat so still and just chatted with Aubrey (the girl at the salon) the whole time. He was so happy about the whole thing, and he just LOVES his new haircut!

The other day Bailey was taking a nap and I went in to check on her and this is what I saw. I guess I should have taken the headband off before the nap!

Monthly Pictures

Here are the kids' monthly pictures. Peyton is getting to be such a little boy, it is weird. Bailey is such a great baby, she has recently found her toung and always has it out (as you can see in these pictures). They are both so fun and GREAT kids!

Finally!

The crying finally stopped and I walked in the room to find a sleeping/eating baby. Looks like Daddy's persistence paid off after all!

SAD!!

So, I am listening to my sweet baby cry in the next room as daddy is attempting to feed her a bottle. I am going back to work on Thursday and we decided to do a trial run tonight. Bailey is not wanting anything to do with the bottle and I think daddy is just about ready to give up! I am so sad to hear her so upset but I know she needs to be able to take a bottle and it will just take time. I took a few pictures before a decided it would be best for me to leave the room.

California Vacation

This last week we our family went on vacation to California. We were able to go to Disneyland and California Adventure Land for 3 days then we went down to San Diego for 3 days. We all had a great time and it was especially fun to see Peyton meet his favorite Disney characters and see Shamu. The next few posts are some of the pictures from our trip.
