Teeth cleaning...

Today Peyton and I had our bi-yearly dental checkup. The last time we tried to have Peyton's teeth cleaned was a big mess, to say the least! Ever since that visit we have been talking to him a lot about going to the dentist and the special chair and toothbrush that tickles. He was so excited for this visit. He couldn't wait to pick a prize from the treasure chest and get a new toothbrush. We love our dentist so much and he has the best staff. His Hygienists, Lisa is so great with Peyton which made our visit so much easier. I just wanted to say thanks to Lisa and Dr. Jones for being so great and making Peyton feel so comfortable!

Yeah for Bailey!

Today Bailey had her first helping of rice cereal. It was mixed with a little formula (didn't want to waste the breast milk) and a spoon full of Sweet Potatoes. It was a hit! Bailey enjoyed every second of it and was very happy afterward.

Thought I'd post some recent pictures of Bailey.

We have been trying to make her have more tummy time. We are really bad at enforcing it but she likes it, as you can see.

She has a new found interest in her tongue. She sticks it out as far as she possibly can. In this pic she is only sticking it out about half as far as she can!

I have to add a little note, today Bailey took her first "ball to the head" it was bound to happen, and I am surprised she has avoided it for this long. Needless to say, it was not good! She SCREAMED and was not a happy girl. Of course, Peyton felt very bad and apologized to no end!

Football Game

Peyton loves Michael Vick (probably because we bought him a Michael Vick jersey for Christmas). Of course, with his recent wrong doings we are trying to get Peyton to pick a different favorite NFL player. In our efforts to do so we got him a Reggie Bush jersey. He is very excited about his new jersey and loves to wear it. He loves to play football with Dan and I in the living room and is always asking us to play. I caught a few pictures of Dan and Peyton's most recent Sunday morning football game (notice Bailey, chillin in the background).

Funny picture

I was searching through my cedar chest for some ideas for the swap I am currently participating on, (it's a School Days swap, participants are asked to send 3-5 objects that remind them of the year they graduated from high school to their partner.) While searching, I came across this funny picture I tore out of a magazine when I was in high school. I had it hanging in my room and it always brought a smile to my face. I had to post it on my blog because I LOVE it. It made the crappy times I had during high school a little more bearable. Isn't it funny/scary?!?!?!

We sold our house!

We sold our house! (At least we are under contract, so hopefully it goes through.) This is our first house and we are sad to move but ready to move on to bigger and better things. Now the search is on for a new home, wish us luck!
