TOMORROW...

...I graduate from Nursing school!!! For so long this day has seemed so far away, I really can't believe it's here already! It seems like this was just yesterday. I am so excited yet so scared of what happens now!
Where do I go from here? Well, I start full time at PCMC on May 2nd! I orient until I get authorization to take and then PASS my Nursing Boards then I integrate for a bit then on my own. I'm gonna give full time a try for now since the kids really like daycare but we'll see how it goes.
Graduation pictures to come.

Baby Animal Days 2010...

Every year at Easter time we love to go up to Wellsville for the Baby Animal Days at the American West Heritage Center. We all love to see the baby animals and over the years the festivities have grown.
This year Peyton tried the mutton bustin'! I was so nervous for him, I think I told him at least 10 times "grab on tight and squeeze the wool as tight as you can, oh and wrap your legs around his belly!" He just looked at me like, "yeah, yeah I know Mom, just chill out, I got this". Well, he didn't stay on for very long, I think he thought he knew what was going to happen but then when the sheep took off he got a little freaked out. I told him he'll have to practice for next year by riding bucking Dad.

Bailey rode the pony for the first time and loved it!

Of course the blow up slides are always a hit, at least with Peyton. Bailey usually goes down once then decides she's done.

They both loved holding the ducks and all was well until Bailey decided she was finished and tossed the little thing! After we reprimanded her she swore it had scratched her hand and that's why she jumped, not sure if that really happened but no one was actually injured so all is well.

Spring Soccer

Peyton started soccer a few weeks ago. Already he is doing much better then he did in the fall and has spent the majority of both games on his feet! Hopefully his interest will last. He's a little discouraged because he hasn't gotten a goal yet, but last game he had at least 3 assists. We have tried to explain to him that assists are pretty much as good as a goal but he doesn't seem to believe us :0).

Easter 2010...

I know this is a little late but better late then never, right?? We had a fun Easter this year, it was a little crazy since I had to take the ATI the next day. For those of you who don't know the ATI is a test RN students at Weber State have to take AND PASS in order to graduate and be able to take RN boards (the NCLEX). It supposedly acts as an indicator as to what percentage the RN students have at passing the NCLEX on the first try, it also acts as an indicator as to how well they are teaching us. Anywho, I had the test on the 5th and rocked it! I'm so relieved and happy to have that over with!
Back to Easter, we forgot the camera for MeeMaw's Easter egg hunt, and we also forgot to take pictures of the kids as they saw their baskets :( . We did however take pictures of the baskets after the Easter Bunny had come and gone.

We had a family home evening lesson earlier in the week and talked about what Easter is about. It's amazing how much Peyton is retaining and can tell us about what he is learning in church and in FHE. Every week in FHE he readily participates and is excited when he know's the right answers (which is quite often). Bailey on the other hand, we're lucky if she sits still!
