The other day Dan and I took Peyton, Bailey and Hannah too the park. Here are some pictures of our fun.

The Beach
Yesterday and today we were able to go to the beach here in Miami. It has been pretty cold here the last few days. Wednesday it was rainy and probably in the mid 60's, yesterday was very sunny and the high was around 68 and today the high was around 78 or so and it was mostly sunny again. Both yesterday and today were really windy days but we thought since Dan is leaving tomorrow and we hadn't been too the beach yet, we'd better go! Going to the beach is a lot of work with 4 kids, one of them being an infant, so we have been choosing the pool over the beach everyday. Anyway, besides the wind both days, we had a great time. Thursday we went while Penny was at the ER so we took Hannah and today all of us except Nate went. Penny and Peyton had a great time running into the big waves then running away from them (Hannah isn't too fond of playing in the ocean water). Bailey was so tired, I felt bad because it was so windy and her poor eyes looked horrible! She was a trooper though!

We made it!
So... Dan and I decided that since Kim & Nate weren't going to be living in Florida for much longer, we should make one last trip too visit them. Dan was limited on which days he could take off work so we decided we would save money if the kids and I flew out in the middle of the week (we're staying for 2 weeks) and he would meet us on a Friday and stay for a week. The kids and I came out Wednesday the 20th we found a great deal on our flights, the only problem was that there was one stop and one layover so it made for a long day. My kids are really good so I thought it wouldn't be too bad of a trip. The trip went pretty smoothly until we had a 2 1/2 hour delay on our last flight then we waited on the runway to takeoff for at least a half hour. As we were on the runway waiting Peyton informed me that he needed to use the restroom. Now... using the bathroom or taking Peyton too the bathroom on the plane was a whole new set of problems. Imagine for a minute fitting me, holding chubby little Bailey, trying to help Peyton pull down his pants, then having to hold him up so he can aim into the potty (he is too short to reach over the edge) and doing all this in a 3ft x 3ft space. Not too fun, or easy for that matter! Anyway, I checked with the flight attendant too see if I had time too take him and she called the captain and he wanted me too wait because the plane couldn't take off if anyone was out of their seat. There was a horrible storm (hence the reason for the long delay) so once we got in the air there was a lot of turbulence. Peyton was grabbing his crotch the whole time and I was begging him not too pee in his pants and bribing him telling him that I would buy him a specific nerf gun he has been wanting. I was afraid to take him too the bathroom because of the turbulent conditions but a guy got up and took his boy too the bathroom, he didn't have a baby or have to go into the bathroom with his son but I thought I would be ok, so I decided I would go ahead and take Peyton. The turbulence had seemed to calm down a bit but the seatbelt sign was still on (that should have been my first clue, but what was worse here, pee soaked pants and seat on a tiny plane or breaking a little ity bity rule??). Right as we got too the bathroom the turbulence really picked up, the flight attendant got on the speaker and said "these conditions are not safe, please stay in your seats for your own safety and the safety of others!" Well, it was a little too late for that, I already had Peyton's pants down! That is when the crap his the fan. As we bounced up and down and side too side, the 3 of us in that tiny space, I went from begging Peyton to just hurry up and go to yelling at him to do it NOW! He was so scared (as was I) he just froze up, he couldn't go. I seriously thought the plane was going down, guess I've been watching LOST too much! So finally I just told him too pull up his pants so we could somehow get back too our seats. Just as Peyton bent down too pull up his pants we hit a big bump and he fell too the ground (pants still down) as he fell he hit his mouth on the toilet cutting his lip! I was freaking out trying too pull him up and we hit another bump and I tried too pad the bump by bending my legs and sat on his head pushing him down again! He was crying, I was yelling (Bailey was calm as could be). I finally got him up and pulled up his pants just as the flight attendant knocked on the door asking if we needed help, uh, ya think!! Anyway, we finally got back too our seats with her help and I got the kids strapped in. The lady next too us asked Peyton if he felt better and I was so embarrassed to say that he didn't even end up peeing!! After a few minutes I broke down bawling and I wished Dan was there so badly. I think the lady across the isle saw me crying because when the plane landed she offered help but I declined and she just helped me anyway, I really appreciated her.So, we finally made it here and I am so glad that flying experience is over! We have had a lot of fun already we have been swimming, shopping and just hanging out. The kids have had a great time playing and Bailey is so entertained. It is so nice too visit the warm weather and I am sad that Kim will be moving away from here, it has been nice too vacation here so often (3 times in 2 years).

This is Bailey's newest thing. She is really enjoying going where she wants to (for the most part).

Ouchie...
Peyton is so silly, he is always walking around the house on his toes but his toes are curled under so he is really walking around on his knuckles! I tried to stand on mine (while holding onto the counter) and I couldn't even put my full weight on them! It's so funny because whenever Dan is sitting he curls his toes under and presses his knuckles on the ground but he never has walked around the house like that! The other day when Peyton was walking around on his knuckles I asked him what he was doing and he said "this is what a big ole' man does Mom". Well okay then!

Tag about My Man...
It's weird to say that this is actually my first time responding to a tag :( Maybe I feel obligated because it's getting close to lovey day and I need to be a more loving wife. I admit, I am just a little impatient, but I do try my best.
What is his name? Daniel Ephraim Hoover
How long have you been married? 6 years 7 months
Who long did you date? Dated 7 months engaged for 4
How old is he? 28
Who eats more sweets? I probably eat more candy, he definately eats more salty snacks. I have to hide anything I don't want devoured. He is working on proportion (he'll eat a whole bag of doritos in one sitting without knowing what happened!) You can do it dear!
Who said I love you first? Him, I was so nervous, he was so cute, he said "I think I'm falling in love with you ( I think that's a good way to say it, not so awkward if you get rejected).
Who is taller? Dan, he's a big man!
Who can sing better? I should be the better singer (I've had more experience) but I really think he is better.
Who is smarter? Depends on the topic. He knows oodles of useless sports info. I'm smarter about everything else ;)
Who does the laundry? Me, but he carries it down down down all the stairs. Actually, last Saturday when I worked, he did all the laundry!! What a man!
Who pays the bills? We do it together, but I make him be in charge.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me if you're facing the bed, him if you're laying on it.
Who mows the lawn? Mostly me, It bothers my sister Kim and her husband, but I really like doing it, I feel proud!
Who cooks dinner? Always me. Except for last Saturday when I worked, I think he wanted something from me after being Mr. Mom that day ;)
Who drives? We both like too but he drives mostly.
Who is more stubborn? I think it's a tie, I am really trying to win though!
Who kissed who first? That was a very awkward moment, I'd rather not talk about it :(
Who asked who out first? I asked him to come up to USU for dinner and games afterward.
Who proposed? He did. He really had me tricked. The weekend before, he had told me (I guess I kept pressing the issue) that he was worried that if we got married we might cheat on eachother ?????? After that I thought he must have serious trust issues! Then when he proposed I felt like I needed to talk him out of it and tell him it was okay if he really wasn't ready to be married. It was very unexpected! He was suprised that I didn't cry but I was very confused!
Who has more siblings? I do, but not by many.
Who wears the pants? I wear pants and I beg him too, he only wears shorts (basketball shorts), except too work. He even wore shorts (khakis) to his work Christmas party (I was sorta embarrassed)!
Let's hear about all your hubbies. All of you!
