Last Friday we were able to take some time and check out Gardener Village. It was really cute and fun for the kids to look at all the great witches.

Proud...
I am studying in my room right now and Peyton was just taking a bath in my bathroom. I could hear him in there talking to himself and playing. He kept repeating P-E-Y-T-O-N over and over. I thought it was cute since I have been trying to teach him how to spell his name lately. A few minutes later Dan was getting him out and I heard him say "that's cool son, good job" and I went in to check it out. This is what I saw on the side of the tub...

Snow???
Dan had mentioned that is was supped to snow in the valley over night but I thought he was just being silly, or at most we would get just a skiff. I was sure wrong!! We woke up this morning to 4 inches and it was still snowing! The kids just had to get out there and play! They had so much fun, I'm glad Hannah and Penny were able to play in the snow, they don't get to see much of that in Miami, Florida, what a sad life! I'd take the beach over the snow anyday!
Dan is such a cute dad, he is always so excited to build stuff out of snow with the kids. Today they built a snow tunnel for Sally. I think they liked it more than she did!

Sad but good...
The kids started "school" daycare yesterday. Dan and I took them and stayed on Tuesday for a few hours so they could get to know the place and their teachers a little before we just dropped them and left. They seemed to really like it, Bailey played for a few hours while Dan and I talked to the director and looked around a little more than we had before. Peyton LOVED it and was sad when we told him it was time too go. They had to be there for almost 9 hours yesterday and they did pretty good, neither of them cried when we left and Bailey only cried a few times through out the day, I did pretty well too, I only teared up just a little. Today didn't go quite as well, Bailey was REALLY upset when I left, she was screaming pretty much as loud as I think I have ever heard her. She calmed down after about 5 minutes (I was standing around the corner) then started right up again when her favorite teacher left the room. When I got back they said she cried more than yesterday but still not too bad. Both days she only took a 30 minute nap, at home she usually naps for between 2-3 hours! Peyton is having a great time with all his new friends and his really fun teacher who has a cool accent that Peyton loves, it sounds like it's British. They both are having troubles with eating, it doesn't help that I have been home with them their whole lives and pretty much feed them foods that they prefer. I'm sure they'll get better at eating and Bailey will get better at napping, it will just take time.
