Cleaning off the camera...

I haven't posted for a while, so I had a few things on my camera. These are just some silly videos and pictures of the kids.

The 3 Amigo's. Kaysen Ricardo & Peyton.

Dan tried to keep Bailey up so I could see her after working a day shift, she just couldn't make it.

Bailey loves to bust a move, even if it's to her brothers singing

This is Peyton's game he plays with Sally (the dog).

You can't see her in this video because she is sitting in her bed.

Swim Lessons...

Yesterday was Peyton's first time for swimming lessons. He was pretty excited the whole day until we got there and he asked to play on the fun play thingy in the water and I said no. That's when it all started... the bawling and screaming that is, not to mention the embarrassment (only for me of course!) If you can picture it... I had Bailey in the stroller, the diaper bag, Peyton's swim bag and Peyton was throwing his head back acting like the world had ended. There were oodles of parents and children everywhere. They were all sitting down quietly to hear the first day of class rules and divide into classes. I tried to calm Peyton but it wasn't working at all. He was screaming louder and louder. All of you who know Peyton at all know that this is VERY out of the ordinary for him. He is the most obedient, submissive child ever! I drug the stroller behind my trying to quiet Peyton and move away from the quiet crowd. I could feel all the eyes burning into my back and my face was so hot, I know it must have been beet red. I quietly told Peyton if he didn't stop he wouldn't swim at all, that calmed him down a little but only for a second. Then I tried the "if you don't stop this we are going home" threat, that bit me in the butt when he started yelling "I wanna go home!" AWESOME!! By this time I was tearing up a little. I had to pull out the last resort "bribe" card "if you just swim today and be obedient, I'll buy you that Rally Rocket Bumblebee Transformer we saw at Walmart today". Bingo! Suddenly he was quiet. The rest of the lessons went OK, it didn't help that Peyton got sunburned on Sunday so his back was pretty sore and was making him cold. He only cried twice during the lesson but I quickly reminded him of the Transformer deal and he calmed down right away. Next time I'll make sure Dan is in attendance the first day of swimming, from the very beginning!!

Ouchie sunburn!

The shirt seemed to help (it was psychological).

This is when the sunburn happened.

(I think the neighbor rented this slide, not sure, I was at work).

Of course, Dan got there just after the kids got in the water. Just in time to take some pics and video and not have to deal with the crazy fit!

Indiana Jones...

So... I had to post these pictures. This is at our local Walmart. I couldn't believe it when I saw it, it is so so so cool!

The whole thing is made of LEGO's!!! It is so amazing that anyone could make that from LEGO's. It looks awesome!

Cuddle Time...

I know this is my third post of the day but I just had to post these cute pictures. The other day I came downstairs and this is what I found...

Aren't they cute!

Football Game...

"Daddy, I wanna fly"

Ever since Peyton was a baby, Dan would toss him into the air like it was nothing. Peyton would go up to Dan and say "Daddy, I wanna fly". Of course it freaked me out but Dan has never dropped him (he's been close though) Peyton LOVES it! they even do it when we're at the store. Dan throws him at up at least 5 feet sometimes more! Peyton can't get enough. Lately he has been doing it with Bailey. At first she didn't know what to think but recently she has grown to love it too. One of the great things about our new home is the vaulted ceilings, of course this means the kids can "fly" in the house! I took some fun pictures of the kids in the air today.

Bailey's 1!!

I can't believe my baby is 1 today! The past year has flown by so quickly. We had a little party at the park yesterday with the family, Bailey had a great time. At first she was a little unsure about the frosting on the cake but once we gave her a taste of the cake part she really went for it! She got a lot of cute, fun presents that she will be having a great time with!

This is the cute lady bug cake Bailey's Aunt Betsy made, thanks Betsy!

Bailey is such a fun, happy little girl. Dan and I have been so blessed to have such happy, fun, obedient children. Bailey has been such a great addition to our family and I feel blessed to be her mother. Bailey has yet to take her first steps but she has been talking quite a bit. She'll attmept to say pretty much anything we request. She loves singing, whenever we get in the car she starts singing "whoa whoa" followed by a bunch of jibberish. I am pretty sure she is singing the Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) song "See You Again". She loves dancing and is always caught swinging her hips when any music is playing. Happy Birthday Bailey, We Love You!!

Happy Birthday Kim!

Today is my older sister Kim's 29th birthday. I just wanted to wish her a happy birthday and thank her for being such a great friend. Kim and I have gotten very close since our Dad died and we talk on the phone daily, or more! I am so thankful that she is there to listen and give me her advice. We are best friends I don't know what I'd do without her friendship. I can't wait till we are able to live closer so we can have more frequent visits, 2500 miles is just too far!! I love you Kim, THANKS!
