We had some friends over on Sunday night for our annual gingerbread house making night. This year we decided to make a gingerbread train instead of a house. The kids mostly just wanted to eat the candy, they were funny.
Curt and Jodi always take it so seriously (I think they were hiding their blueprint)
Sorry Paige and Andrew- we don't have a picture of your finished house!
The Choo-choo train.

I would need that bottle of Mountain Dew to make it through that... you guys are troopers... how'd the kidoos sleep that night, sugar high and all? ;)
They turned out so cute! I have a hard time doing the houses with my kids. I just want to put the candy where I want them. It's hard to let the kids "help."
Sure looks fun! I need to do this for a tradition, it always looks so neat when they are finished!
Thanks again for having us over, it was fun. Now no one can do it again until we move back from Indiana.
WE're so sad we missed it. They look great.
Very cute! Sloane makes one with my mom every year while Russ and I and now Nash go out shopping. It's a fun tradition. I hope you guys had a good Christmas. Did you get my c-card? There were some that didn't get it so I am just wondering. We love you guys. After the new year lets start doing things again. I feel like I hardly know you it's been so long...
