Bailey is so positive, she is always saying things like "I like your hair mom" or "I like your shoes Peyton", coming from a 2 year old it sounds so silly because those seem like something an older person would say. A few weeks ago Bailey had emptied all the wipes from the container, Dan was lecturing her on why we don't do that (since she also occasionally empties the tissues from their box) the conversation went something like this...
Dan "Bailey, we don't empty the wipes, or the tissues out of the box"
Bailey "K"
Dan "it makes a mess and it is wasting"
Bailey "K"
Dan "I don't want you to do this anymore"
Bailey "K"
Dan "it's just not okay"
Bailey "K, I like your shirt Dad"
The lecture was over, how could you argue with a compliment!
The other night we had been doing some work in the yard and Dan gave the kids a bath. Since Dan was also planning on jumping in the shower he already had his shirt off when he got Bailey out of the bath. As he was getting her dressed she commented "I like your boobies Dad".
He politely thanked her.

SO CUTE!! Merrill had trained the girls to tell me "but mom.. you're hot." whenever they needed to bust it out.. like it was gonna help them get out of trouble...

Oh I love it. And I love the fact that my little 2 year old isn't the only one obsessed with "boobies". She will always say, "Mommy, I like your boobies." I have now got her away from that and she'll now say, "Mommy, I like your boo... oh no...belly" (thanks to the pregnancy) Then we were at the pool the other day and this old man was wearing a white under armour t-shirt (of course see through) and she shouts out, "Mommy, look at his boobies." You gotta love kids.
